About Clear Stamps
Superior Quality Clear Stamps
Our hand stamps are produced using genuine photopolymer resins. Unlike stamps manufactured using silicon or vinyl materials, the photopolymer stamps offer outstanding ink transfer characteristics, thanks to their heritage of development for the flexographic printing industry. Photopolymer resins were originally developed in the printing industry as a replacement for the hand engraved or molded rubber-printing plates being used. Their manufacturing process and ink transfer characteristics were improved until they became the preferred printing plate, replacing rubber, for most flexographic printing processes worldwide. Now, after 50 years of development, the modern resins offer outstanding ink transfer and ease of use for the art stamp hobbyist. They have become recognized as the superior alternative to rubber in hand stamping.

We Make Only Photopolymer Clear Stamps
Clear stamps are now produced in photopolymer, silicon, and vinyl materials. However, only photopolymer, developed for the printing industry, has the microscopic porosity necessary for excellent ink transfer. Stamps made from silicon and vinyl materials have a non-porous, slick surface, which has difficulty producing even ink transfer.
